### Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
|
||
|
||
The use of **AI agents, autonomous AI tools, or automated AI-driven systems to independently solve challenges is strictly prohibited** during DEADFACE CTF 2026. All challenges are intended to test the knowledge, skills, and problem-solving abilities of human competitors.
|
||
|
||
Players may use AI-powered tools for general research, learning, troubleshooting, or guidance. However, **submitting flags or solutions obtained primarily through AI-generated work, rather than the competitor's own efforts, is prohibited. AI must never be used to interact with the scoring server or infrastructure.**
|
||
|
||
If DEADFACE CTF Staff discovers or receives credible evidence that a competitor or team used AI to autonomously solve challenges, the competitor or team may be **disqualified from the competition, removed from the leaderboard, and deemed ineligible for prizes or awards**.
|
||
|
||
DEADFACE CTF Staff reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and make final decisions regarding enforcement and disqualification.
|
||
|
